THE FORTY-SEVEN %
Nearly half of UK gamers are women, but only 5% are pro. That's because there’s no real tournament structure between amateur play and pro esports So together with Sky Broadband and Guild Esports, we changed the game and created a tournament series built for women, culminating in the UK’s first-ever Women’s Esports Finals — a platform designed to bridge the gap and make the pro scene even more accessible to a wave of new talent.
We launched it with The Forty-Seven %. A striking image of 47 gamers, streamers and cultural icons including Lady Leshurr, Naomi Schiff, YammyXoX, Ebonix, SunPi, Chloe Burrows, Talia Mar and Rachel Daly. Standing together to represent the future of competitive gaming. A moment that turned a statistic into a statement.
That squad photo kick-started a tournament series powered by Sky Full Fibre, from racing titles to football showdowns, giving female players a shot at pro contracts, elite coaching, and their place on the main stage at the Women’s Esports Finals.
