PALESTRA MODERNA
A typographic project that begun during the first covid lockdown.
Palestra Moderna is a full suite of characters designed to compliment the most loved P in all of Brazil. Celebrating the culture and heritage of the Brazilian football club Palmeiras, formerly known as Palestra Itália. The type-style combines the original historic Tuscan traits with the geometric style that the logo has inherited over the years of re-design. The font was generated in FontForge and published as a workable OpenType font approved by Monotype.
