KANO LEAVES 3-BAR GAP IN NEW TRACK, TO FIND UNHEARD TALENT.
The UK has been a prolific global powerhouse in music for decades. However in 2020, UK arts funding was slashed. Music courses had an average of 3 students and talent was being under-invested, overlooked and unheard.
So we got British rapper Kano to leave a ‘3-Bar’ gap in his latest release. Opening up his track to talent on the streets, in partnership with adidas Superstar - a sneaker synonymous with rap culture & urban streetwear. Inviting un-dicovered artists to fill in the track and submit their versions through an innovative ‘swipe & spit’ mobile platform for a chance to fill the gap.
